Cameras, cables, unimaginable stage scenes, fiction and reality feed his passion, that has been his way of living for the last 26 years.
The script that would tie him with the film universe was written the day of his birth, since his childhood years, on the adjoining streets of the Churubusco Studios, Mexican most famous film studios. That’s why his childhood’s flash backs send him back to those film sets like David Lynch’s Dunes, Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo or Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Total Recall.
His experience has been fed in both national and foreign productions. In the scope of foreign advertising, he has produced ads for great production companies like Joe Public, Traktor, Anorak, Sweetshop, Prettybird, B-Reel, Caviar, HungryMan, Stink, Smuggler, AeroFilm, Bully Pictures, Partizan, Somesuch, Bacon, just to mention a few. Regarding long format projects, he has produced a few Mexican feature films and another handful of TV series. In the international arena, he has produced a few reality shows for networks like ABC, NBC and RAI and also, one feature film for Lionsgate. In the music industry, he has produced some music videos for artists like J-Blavin, Ozuna, Rudimental, Blonde and Coldplay.
Tantor and Carlos met in 2012 when he brought a Mexican project to shoot in Chile and instantly both became each other’s family.
He is now partner and head of production for the Mexican office.
